International student Fayaz ALI, advised by Prof. Yuanchun ZHOU of Computer Network Information Center (CNIC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has won the Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship. ALI is the first international student of CNIC to won this award since the program started in 2015.
The Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship is an annual award program set up by the Ministry of Education of China to commend international students who study diligently in China and make contribution to cultural exchange between China and other countries. The program is open to all international degree students (sophomore and above) studying in China, aiming to improve the overall level of international students in China and encourage them to study hard and make progress.
