By combining prevail information technologies and management philosophy, the management informatization system aims to support the research community in the management of research projects, equipment, funds, team members, etc. Borrowing the expression of resource planning from ERP which supports production and administration of enterprises, Academia Resource Planning (ARP) is a different endeavor to facilitate research management across the entire life circle of research projects. Initiated in 2002, the team is now working on the next-generation cloud-based ARP system toward more cost-effective management solutions, which is developed through JAVA, Spring framework and VUE language, strengthened by the middleware such as workflow engine, report engine, and combined with big data and artificial intelligence.
