| Sep. 22, 2011,the delegation of Laos Ministry of Post, Telecom and Communications, companied by Mr Khamkhith SAISONGKHAM, head of Laos national internet network information centre, led by minister H. E. Hiem Phommachanh and deputy minister Thansamay KOMMASITH, paid a visit to CNNIC. Prof.Xiangyang Huang, director of CNIC and CNNIC, CAS and Mr. Haitao Chen, Chief executive of Asian and African Affairs department, Bureau of International Cooperation CAS, joined the visiting. Both parities exchanged and probed views on the issues of construction of national internet network information centre, as well as the operation and administration of national domain name. |

Prof. Huang introduced the status quo of administration, operation and business development of CNIC and CNNIC of CAS, with a stress on the introduction of the operation and administration experience of national domain name service system, when accompanying with the peer delegation to visit the central computer room, call centre and nodes operation room of CNNIC. Mr H.E. Hiem Phommachanh, minister of Post, Telecom, and Communications, said that the precious experience related to operation, construction and registry administration of CNNIC provides a favorable reference to the construction of Laos national internet network information centre. |
