Profs. Hyeak Ro Lee, Song Jang Hun and Mr. Moon Gi Choi paid a visit to the Computer Network Information Center (CNIC) at an invitation of Prof. Huang Xiangyang, the general director of CNIC on Jan. 11, 2010.

Profs. Hyeak Ro Lee, Song Jang Hun were from Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, who were general manager of Supercomputing Center and section chief of department of Planning& Management. Also, Mr. Choi, Moon-gi, the deputy director of budget division.

Director Huang Xiangyang, Prof. Yan Baoping, the Chief engineer of CNIC, gave a warm reception for KISTI’s visiting. The seminar was hosted by Prof. Chi Xuebin, the director of Super Computing Center of CNIC. During the seminar, the technicians from divisions including, China Science& Technology Network Center, Super Computing Center, Scientific Data Center and General Group for Advancing e-Science Application, gave detailed introduction about business field and work highlights, particularly for e-Science cases. KISTI and CNIC exchanged the ideas in which they both focused on, they expressed their gratitude for CNIC.

During the visiting, the technicians led KISIT delegation make a machinery tour around the CNIC.
