Workshop on High Performance Computing Application Acceleration(WHPCAA)2010 Held in Beijing

Computer Network Information Center (CNIC) hosted the 2010 Workshop on High Performance Computing Application Acceleration on October 21. This workshop was Supported by the National Sanitation Foundation, CNIC, Beihang University, and Tsinghua University. This workshop is supposed to provide a platform of high performance computing application for the scientists between China and US, especially to support the communication chances and international collaboration among climate, weather, earth science, and molecular dynamics, which attracted more than 40 experts with nearly 20 reports from NSF between China and US, University of Houston, Wisconsin-Madison,Alaska Fairbanks, Tsinghua University, Fudan University and so on. 
 
 
Participants from China and US achieved high efficient efforts on high performance computing application acceleration during the three days, and also posed constructive suggestions and cooperative schemes between earth science system and molecular dynamics.
